Bondi Beach....

Ok, this has been a cricket/fun blog, but i'm sorry, but at the moment over here all you can see on the TV is floods. I know, good old Neil hasn't a clue, but i've seen our WIDE Severn valley, unfortunatly, they don't do wide valley's or short showers. Don't get me wrong, I'm in Bondi, but, I wanted to go up to BRISBANE, cos it's the gold coast.......
Balls.... the Australians are the winners! They just won't give up! I'm impressed! (STUBBORN BUGGERS!!!!)  LOVE THEM!!!!!!

Hello again, nice little walk down the ground this morning, including an absolute downpour!! The famous pink hat returned to it's original burgundy for a while ther I can tell you!! But, rain was not to spoil the day, after an Aussie rearguard action, did make me worry a little when the rain returned. As it happens, god favoured the Judges, rather that the convicts, and when play resumed the tail was mopped up. The last post was actually ending on the trumpet as the Beer went.....

Had a wander around the ground then, but no sign of any register to be an Australian citizen if you can bat, bowl or field, so a wander down Darling Harbour(not you Darling.....(Black Adder????....anyone????)), a lamb kebab, a couple of 5 seeds cider(the way forward my bab!!!) and a walk back, off for a few beers now. Up early off to the zoo!!

Well, sorry haven't been updating this as mush as I really would of liked, but costs of Wifi, the Cooler, and me falling from the top bunk(pool table) have rather curtailed it!

But, now i've moved out of the Cooler, to a nice clean room, I can update....

The Cooler, a 6' wide, 10' long, 14'high, Cell, it was hell, on a main street, ok, if you get drunk, that can be taken out of it, hot and stuff if you closed window. Only place JG picked on holiday, 11 nights there, I wouldn't put Russell and Steve in there!

Was given top bunk by JG, rock hard (pool table hard, honest!)(Pool table outside had better cushions...), proceeded to fall from it on 1st night, hurting back, plus giving myself an inability to sleep up there! Fall asleep, wake up, shaking..... NOT fun!

Final straw came when getting up to use the communal toilets, someone had had a rather nasty accident over three, yes, three, of the stalls.....

Now as for the cricket have had some great days play, seen some great batting, Ali, Ali Cook, Ali, Ali Cook..... Ian Bell, some good fun with all of the Aussies we've met and wellsee facebook for pics!
